What You Can Expect
As a member of the European Regulatory Affairs Team you are reporting to the country regulatory affairs manager. Your responsibilities are:
- Preparation and in time submission of registration dossiers to competent authorities in Germany and Austria in compliance with the local and European requirements.
- Full responsibility of an assigned product portfolio to ensure its regulatory compliance and maintenance.
- Close cooperation with other business units to maximize the business output of registration projects.
- Provide support to other EU countries, when needed.
- Represent ADAMA in front of authorities, industry associations (e.g. IVA), and external stakeholder (e.g, growers associations).
- Project management with local, zonal and European responsibilities. Identify registration requirements to obtain / maintain authorisations of formulated products. Contribution to decision-making about registration strategies according to business priorities, by identifying risks, local / zonal requirements. Communication with relevant internal and external stakeholder. Review of dossiers considering EU requirements and accepted refinement options in the different EU countries (not dossier writing). Review of Preliminary Risk Assessment.
- Possibilities to lead working groups related to regulatory topics (e.g. biologicals).
What We Expect
- At least bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Agronomy, Biology, Environmental sciences, Toxicology, Chemistry or equivalent
- Experience of minimum four years in registration and regulatory affairs of Plant Protection Products in the EU
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in project management.
- Teamwork abilities, open to change. Effective communication.
- Analytical and strategic thinking with problem-solving attitude
- Knowledge of regulations impacting product authorizations (e.g. REACH, CLP) is an added value.
- Knowledge of fertilizer and biostimulants (EU & national) regulations is an added value.
- Native German speaker. Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must. Any other European language an added value.
