Breeding technician (m/f/d) Product Development for the RyeBelt

Your areas of responsibility are:

• Supervision of breeding trials across multiple test environments.
• Planning, coordination, and execution of field-data assessments.
• Design and statistical analysis of breeding trials across multiple test environments.
• Reporting of data analyses.
• Management of seed inventories and variety lists.  
• Documentation for variety applications across RyeBelt countries.
• Documentation of files and data in designated databases.
• Technical supervision and guidance of seasonal staff.

Bring in your strengths:

• Completed training or studies in the field of agriculture, plant breeding or related fields.
• Knowledge of design and experimental analysis is of advantage.
• Good skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel; experience with common-purpose databases and statistical software is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English; basic knowledge of German or willingness to learn the language.
• Open personality with good communication skills, ability to cooperate and teamwork in a diverse environment.
• High level of flexibility, attention to details and an independent working style.
• Willingness to travel (up to 10%) and driving license class B.
